New lawsuit filed on September 12th, 2019 alleges violation of Metropolitan Nashville procurement laws and state sunshine laws, in multi-million dollar contracts awarded to companies for the design, construction management, and infrastructure design. Our case against Metro Nashville moves back to Chancery Court, unless Metro Nashville appeals to the TN State Supreme Court.
On June 21, 2019 our appeal was filed to the TN State Appellate Court. Oral arguments will be given on July 9, 2019. Stay tuned! The fight to save the Fairgrounds is alive and well.
